Time to spend at Notre Dame de Paris: about 1 hour.

 

First, we start our journey with Notre Dame Cathedral. This magnificent Gothic masterpiece is one of Paris’s top landmarks,
and one of the most visited monuments in the world! Visit all of the high parts of the western façade, and contemplate the gargoyles sculptures.

 

Free entrance every day, from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, and from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sundays.

 

  1. THE LOUVRE MUSEUM

Route: from Notre Dame to the Louvre Museum : 25 minutes walk or 15 minutes by bus (Bus line 1 from “Hotel de Ville” to “Palais Royal”).

After the long walk at the Louvre Museum, enjoy and take your time to relax and admire the nature at Tuileries Garden.

The vastness of the garden helps you to completely escape from the tumult of the city. And the gardens’ two ponds are perfect for relaxation. In addition, the garden is a place steeped in history with numerous monuments and sculptures to discover.

The garden is ideal for the whole family and it’s perfect for a picnic right in the heart of Paris.

If you prefer a coffee break, we recommend the following cafés located in the garden:

  • Café des Marroniers: located near to the “bassin octogonal”, it’s ideal to eat a bit.
  • Café Diane: situated at the heart of the garden, you can order to eat in or to take away.
  • Angelina: with a century of reputation, it is here where you will find the unique and iconic Angelina hot chocolate.

The first floor has been completely redesigned, and it is here where you will find all the shops and boutiques.
